Beginning on Monday, June 13th, Nick Ortner, author of The Tapping Solution, will be hosting the “You Are Enough” Tapping Challenge.  This is a free online event that you will not want to miss.

If you’re not familiar with Tapping, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), it is a powerful practice that uses the principles of acupressure to reduce stress, resolve past trauma and address any feelings of self-worth that you may be struggling with.

Let’s be honest….we’ve all struggled with a lack of confidence or low self-esteem at some point in our life.  While these feelings are quite common, they can manifest in many ways.  One of the ways a lack of confidence has manifested for me is the very thing I talked about last week – my tendency to always be “doing.”

I have no doubt that what drives this behavior are my deeply rooted feelings of what I like to call “not enoughness.”  Not doing enough, not having enough, not being enough.

Over the years I have used many tools to work through these emotions and tapping has definitely been one of the tools that I have turned to time and again.  It’s fast, it’s easy and it works.

The basic tapping technique is very simple.  You start by focusing on the emotion you want to address and, at the same time, you use your fingers to tap on 9 meridian points on your body.  You can watch this short video if you want to see a demo and learn more about tapping.
